This Privacy Policy explains how FlagCrack (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit flagcrack.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the Site and improve it.

  • Newsletter signups: If you subscribe to our email newsletter, we collect the email address you provide.
  • Contact: If you email us or use a contact form, we receive the details you send, such as your name and message.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, time on site, referring pages, and similar analytics data.
  • Device data: Browser type, device type, operating system, and general location (country or region).
  • Cookies: Small files stored on your device that help the Site and our partners work as intended. See “Cookies and Tracking” below.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Run, maintain, and improve the Site and its content.
  • Understand which pages and games readers find useful.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the Site. It collects data such as pages viewed, time on site, and general location, using cookies and your IP address (which is anonymized where supported). You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to monitor how the Site performs in Google Search. It reports aggregate search data, such as which queries bring visitors to the Site. It does not identify individual users to us.

Do Not Track signals

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is no agreed industry standard for how to respond to these signals, so our Site does not currently respond to them differently. You can still control tracking through your browser settings and the opt-out links above. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, as described in the California section below.

Email Newsletter

If you subscribe, we use your email address only to send updates, new guides, and related content from FlagCrack. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We do not sell or rent your email address.

Third-Party Services

Some services above are run by third parties who process data under their own privacy policies:

  • Google Privacy Policy (AdSense, Analytics, Search Console)
  • Our email newsletter provider, which processes your subscription data on our behalf.

We do not control how third parties use data collected through their own tools, so we encourage you to read their policies.

Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as required by law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months after your inquiry is resolved. Analytics and log data are retained for up to 24 months from collection. When a retention period ends, we delete or anonymize the data. We may keep some data longer where needed for security, fraud prevention, or to meet a legal obligation.

Your Privacy Rights (GDPR)

This section applies to visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom. For the purposes of the GDPR, FlagCrack is the data controller for the Site. You can reach us using the contact details at the end of this policy.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

This section applies to California residents and reflects the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.

Categories of information we collect

In the past 12 months, we may have collected these categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers: such as email address (if you subscribe) and IP address.
  • Internet activity: such as pages viewed, time on site, and referring pages.
  • Geolocation data: general location such as country or region, not precise location.

We collect this information from you directly and automatically through cookies and similar technologies. We use it for the business purposes described in “How We Use Your Information” above, and we may share these categories with service providers, such as Google, who process the data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

We do not sell or share your personal information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. Because we do not sell or share personal information, we do not offer a separate “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and provide the required opt-out. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out request.

Your California rights

As a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
  • Request a copy of the specific pieces of information we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.

We operate from the United States, and the services we use, such as Google, may process data in the United States and other countries. If you access the Site from outside these countries, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed where data protection laws differ from those in your location. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
