Variations

Capture the flag has dozens of ways to play beyond the classic game. These variations each change one thing, whether it’s the time of day, the space, the gear, or the group size, and that one change opens up a whole new game. Play it silent at night with glow sticks. Move it indoors on a rainy day. Swap tags for Nerf darts, or scale up to a four-base setup for big crowds. Each guide below covers the setup and the rules that change, so you can pick a twist and get playing.
